Although many of you reading this may already have an engagement ring on your finger you may not have picked out your wedding bands yet! When Cheyenne Weil contacted us I jumped at the opportunity to showcase her work on our blog. She is based out of Portland, Oregon and designs eco-friendly jewelry. Cheyenne does all the designing, carving and finishing herself so you are guaranteed to have an original, custom, handmade and beautiful piece! They truly are a piece of art.
Cheyenne uses recycled metals whenever possible and all of the diamonds used in her jewelry are conflict free so you will not only look great but you will feel good about wearing them! I love the engagement ring she designed for one of her brides below (gold with center diamond). And I can't keep my eyes off the pearl ring! It is simply gorgeous. Not all of her pieces are wedding related so I recommend you check out all of her jewelry for sale on on her Etsy shop: Gin and Butterflies. If you are interested in a custom piece you can visit her website and contact her here.

Are any of you Seattle brides still looking for an eco-friendly wedding dress or jewelry? If so this Wednesday, April 28th the Seattle Fashion Group International is hosting a Twice Blushed Trunk Show that I would encourage you to attend. This is a great opportunity to view wedding gowns from Twice Blushed and look through some environmentally conscious jewelry to compliment your wedding attire. They will be serving cupcakes from Cupcake Royale so you could technically squeeze in a mini tasting while sipping on some champagne. Sounds pretty good right?

Where: Vernell Studios, 5228 20th Avenue, Seattle, Wa 98107

Although most of you reading this most likely already have an engagement ring on your left finger, you may still be looking for that perfect wedding band or jewelry to wear on your wedding day. A friend of mine recently told me about C5, a sustainable jewelry company offering chic and beautiful ethically sourced jewelry. All of their jewelry is made of 100% recycled precious metals and ethically sourced gems and diamonds. I fell in love with some of their pieces on their flickr page. If you are still in need of jewelry for your wedding day I would recommend checking out their selection.
